Rodrigo Santos
Partner with Alex Antz of ARC Builders & Development Inc. With more than 18+ years of expertise in construction for residential and commercial customers in San Francisco, Bay area, and the peninsula in California. I approach projects with a strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail.
The construction area isn’t just a job for me; it’s a passion. Clients appreciate not only my skills but my reliability, collaboration and friendly approach. I pride myself in listening closely to my customer’s needs, ideas and about your new designs, and I ensure that their vision becomes a reality.
Alex Antz
A beautiful and functional structure has a profound effect on its occupants. My day job for the past 18 years has been to ensure code compliant functionality as a building inspector in a variety of public and private sector’s.
I began my career working as a section inspector for housing urban development (HUD) enforcing HQS standards for government voucher based and tax credit programs. I learned the truthfulness of how a building can affect the psyche of residents over a nine year period in 5+ bay area counties. Beginning my early years living at an assisted housing project in Richmond Ca, were filled with happy memories as a child and gratitude for the program as an adult. I soon realize that I wanted to learn more about building. After a brief stint doing code enforcement for the City of Alameda, I landed an apprenticeship as a special inspector where I learned all of the intricacies of building elements themselves.
I also enjoyed with a third-party consultant firm focusing on building envelope science and fire prevention for R2 R3 building types and single-family homes, for some of the nation’s biggest builders. Looking to gain new experience as a city and county building inspector working for different jurisdictions in the San Francisco Bay peninsula, I’ve had the pleasure of working with some of the most incredible people.
Finally for the last three years as an inspector of record (IOR) Licensed by the state of California. I’ve been doing hospital and skilled nursing facility construction. All of these roles are primarily to ensure buildings are of the highest quality construction.
Now with my incredible partner, Rodrigo Santos, together we get to fulfill our passion for building beautiful structures that we know will positively affect the minds and hearts of all our clients.
